New 25 mile Mountain Trail from Deer Valley to I80 by Kimball Junction by Pine Brook, Landmark Inn area.

The Mid Mountain Trail features nearly 25 miles of singletrack winding through the aspens just a few miles from downtown Park City. The route is also known as the "8,000-Foot Trail" because it rolls up and down at this elevation nearly the whole way between Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, The Colony  and The Canyons Resort. The trail includes some rocky terrain, awesome vistas and picturesque alpine meadows. Nearby routes add at least another 200 miles of connected trail.

"I just wanted you to know that this afternoon I went on one of the best rides of my life. It started up Daly canyon (where I saw two moose at the water tower), then I headed up Ontario bi-pass to the new tour de suds (I really enjoyed the numerous switchbacks), then I headed to little chief and onto the new Mid-mountain. I must say the mid-mountain section from silver lake to park city mountain resort is amazing, fast, fun, with beautiful colors, good turns, great views, and excellent switchbacks. The trail is so buff, I couldn't believe you guys cut it this year. Especially, since the yellow aspens leaves where all over the trail and the sun shown behind the trees. I even stirred two moose on the trail. I finished the ride on the old mid-mountain (I can't believe I called it old), and down Spiro. 1 1/2 hours of epic riding in Park City's finest."
